2019 edition. A little thin compared to prior years. Might be due to the relatively weak/disappointing 2019 KBS base. Nevertheless, the bourbon and maple syrup are both present and water nice. The alcohol is well balanced, it doesn't feel hot at all like other imperial stouts. — 7 years ago
Punchy crowpleaser: heavy, almost syrupy body with strong, bold flavors of oaky vanilla, ripe black cherry, and cinnamon spice. Smooth and round mouthfeel. Not terribly complex but a joy to drink. — 3 months ago
Vintage is 2018. Refreshing sparkler with apple and mineral notes on the nose that continue onto the palate. Overall just really nice and refreshing. Would be nice if it were a bit more complex, but still some nice yeasty notes and a slight hint of spice in the background, with the yeast veering more into the savory side rather than nutty/brioche flavors. Finish is pleasant but simple with the yeastiness dominating. Nice wine to come home to and relax after a long day at work. — 8 months ago

This is the best bottle of wine I’ve had from my cellar in years. Nearly perfect. Bought it in 2008 for $30 and one of my great finds. Good lord it was just divine. I’m sure there have been better vintages but I can’t imagine it. — 18 days ago
