This ranked 2nd tonight among Cabs. I beat out Chimney Rock, Somerston, but couldn't quite exceed the Alpha Omega magnum. Solid Cab that was refined and had elegant fruit. Nothing that really stood out for me, but very drinkable and overall very pleasing. — 8 years ago
This is a big wine! Dark red and blue fruits along with some secondary and tertiary flavors of wet leaves, tobacco, turned dirt and warn leather. The wine has a long finish with heavy gripping oak tannins. Really tastes like Napa Valley! Delicious, interesting and intense. — a month ago

Full-bodied. Dark fruits (blackberries, boysenberries, pomegranate), leather, tobacco, espresso, spice, and a hint of licorice. Lovely finish. — 4 months ago
Barely browning, otherwise complete tonally. Blood. Coffee rye nose nibbles black olive edges and oozes pouch tobacco. Devil’s food chocolate with corresponding moisture. Black cherry. Blackberry and boisenberry.smatter the graham cracker crust in the cedar bowl. Joyous purple flowers of every persuasion. Palate shows heat without being blowsy. Likely the product of concentrated licorice, black currant, cassis and tobacco, ax well as vanilla. Burnt flatbread, charred bbq tips, pencil scribbling that never quit and smoky rock.

We had the 2014 Vintage of XCVI on 5/15-16/26. An excellent Napa Floor Cab. BlackBerry, black cherry, plum, cassis, kirsch and oak. Fruit forward, New World, well balanced, full bodied. Would buy more — 3 days ago
