Rich, juicy, tiniest but if smokey flavor, really great for the cost — 3 years ago
The color of the Cantina del Pino “Gallina” Barbaresco, swear it, is “ruby squared”. While initially the nose was surprisingly muted, a quick decant seemed to turn the key to much greater depth. Stewed red fruits lead to a ‘growingly’ remarkable palate of bot power as well as finesse. While the tannins are obvious, evident, and young- it seems with every minute that goes by it relaxes. While doing so, revealing layer after layer of evolution and new experience. Like a lot of other Barbarescos: please be patient. Doing so will only reward you. — 5 months ago

What a great vintage of McCrea, purchased at the winery and in fantastic shape, lemon custard nose and bright lemon finish on the palate make it a seamless wine, the oak is well integrated and in balance to the body of the wine. This was perfect with our roasted mushroom risotto with lemon zest. Pleasure squared! — 4 years ago

Privatbrauerei Eichbaum Brauer Theobald lager.
Green-gold with stark, white, lunar surface head. Op art islands drift like clouds as lacing. Breaded nose with drops of honey and bee pollen dance with lemon zest and grapefruit. The palate surprises with a dry grain entry. Cardamom sensation with Brazil nut and dark oat. Strong offering of beer squared.

Sipping Fine Wine
Pale lemon color, fresh fruit aromas with notes of floral, nuttiness and spice. On the palate flavors of stone fruit and lemon citrus with green spice, slightly creamy wet stone notes. Medium+ finish, good acidity ending with fruit and earthy mineral character. Nice! — a month ago
