Perfect blend of dry and tart! — 4 years ago
Not too dry, not too sweet, perfect for a night out under the stars — 5 years ago
I’m a big fan of the Sterling wines. First time drinking this bold, smooth, fruity red blend and I was a big fan! Need to buy this by the case. — 6 years ago
Pleasant white. Went well with the shrimp and grits. — 8 years ago
1992 vintage, full-bodied, notes of blackberry, chokecherry, and tobacco. Decant. Opens up. — 9 years ago
Primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts (6%) of Merlot and Malbec blended in. Dark ruby color. Aromas of black cherry/currants, violets and toffee. The palate is also black fruit focused with additional flavors of chocolate, black licorice and black pepper. Touch of vanilla and fresh herbs on the medium length finish. The tannins have smoothed out and the acidity is quite bright. More medium bodied and subtly sweet. Easy drinker. — 2 years ago

2018, very good with roast beef! Smooth, good taste, good sipping. Would like to try with cheese and see if it holds up
Would need a sharp cheddar. Repeat depending on price — 5 years ago

It's time for #MerlotThursday!
Dark ruby in color with a nice reddish rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, blueberries, cherries, toast, licorice, vanilla, cedar, mocha, coffee, chocolates, spices and black pepper.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, cherries, raspberries, wood, licorice, vanilla, earth, spices, light vegetables, pencil lead and peppercorn.
Medium plus on the finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This Napa Merlot is always enjoyable. Well balanced with mild complexity and a nice tangy finish. Lately, I'm really into Napa Merlots.
Good right out of the bottle and gets better in 30 minutes. Peeking now.
I paired it with cheeses and crackers, and will pair very nicely with BBQ Meats as well.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

Hard to go wrong - 2025 Christmas with a leg of lamb roast. Delicious. Had it open and then decanted for about 90min ahead of time. Opened up nicely. — 6 months ago
