Served with Paceta de cerdo com mojo rojo — 3 months ago
This wine is inky dark, with no light getting through the glass. Black fruit provides the sweet part of the nose, while tar, earth, tobacco, and coffee cover the savory side. Blackberry and plum flavors are joined on the palate by earthy minerals and a brisk acidity. The tannins are firm and seem to eagerly await a pairing with some beef. It’s a delicious wine, so if you’re not pairing it with food, that’s okay. — 25 days ago
Cherries, raspberries and a hint of minty chocolate, high alcohol packed in minirality. Very pleasant — 2 months ago
had this years ago and i feel like they've made some great strides: Monastrell from Yecla can be flabby fruit bombs, but this is a legit wine, great old vine material, had some of the secondary aromas & flavors from southern France, some of that feral quality, some iodine, white pepper along with copious amounts of black & red fruit. polished & poised, smooth thru nice finish — 5 months ago
Great wine combining southern burgundy richness, use of luxurious oak, great acidity and low alc levels. Wonder how this ages.. Tx @Jan A for pointing this one out!. — 7 days ago
Good Argentinian Cabernet. Mendoza is becoming a serious powerhouse in wine. Their Malbecs are impressive and now they are producing quality Cabs. $30 for a 1.5 L from Total Wines. — 3 months ago
