This was beautiful, and the perfect foil to Peranakan 1* Michelin at Candlenut. Shy nose. Mineral with a whiff of petrol. Palate if sweet apple, raw honey, and mineral. Great balance. Not cloying. — 5 years ago
Slightly sweet - could crush a full bottle easy — 6 years ago
Enjoying a lovely older bottle. Definitely off dry but with all sorts of Rheingau flavours coming through. — 8 years ago
EXCELLENT Riesling, young flavor and beautiful minerality , you can have this with anything. — 9 years ago
Delicious. With a big 1.5 kg t-bone grilled on a salt block (for 3 people, I'm not a complete pig), mmmmm. Not as floral and complex as a Barbaresco, but nice complexity and excellent finish. — 9 years ago
From KG - really enjoyed! Spicy w no jam! — 3 years ago

Wow. The KG “Molsheim.” Just a stunning nose of lime zest, white pepper, herbs, some complex citrus, herbs again but more pronounced. Just awesome palate. Amazing texture and grace. Such amazing spread on the palate. Nose now getting gingerbread, spice, pound cake, but the ginger is out of hand. Stunning. Deep, ripe, complex and concentrated. Seems a bit closed though initially and I know it has more to say. Finish is long and clings to the palate. Great acidity and it is caressing. Glorious purity and depth — 5 years ago
First year of production: 1997
Vineyard: Corvina 50% and Cabernet Sauvignon 50%
Geographical Location: Veneto – Italy Northeast of Verona, in the hill that divides Montorio from the Valle d’Illasi
Extension: 27 hectares of new shoulder pad
Plant date: 1960 to 1999.
Composition of the soil: Limestone with prevalence of iron red clay in the vineyards The Perlar and Palazzina, medium tufa clay dough in the Mount of the Dragon
Strains per hectare: 5/7000 to shoulder.
Harvest: From late August to mid-September.
Yield per plant: 1 kg.
Climate trend: Cold and dry winter. High temperatures arrive in March
moving the shoots well in advance, the flowering already begins
mid-May. Heavy rains at the beginning of summer, which
keep productivity low. Hot and dry summer, almost
without precipitation. Early harvest start at the end of August and
excellent harvest until the end of September. Great vintage.
Winemaking technique: Cabernet Sauvignon harvesting is about a week ahead
Corvina. Both grapes are placed in withering
, but the Cabernet is already being pinched after two weeks,
corvina is left for up to three weeks in the boxes.
Separate vinification and rest for 18 months in new tonneau for the
Cabernet and one or two years old for the Corvina. After
assembly waits a few months before bottling. — 6 years ago
Belcampo ribeye. Xo KG — 9 years ago

1000 kg snoei en tuinafval verwerkt vandaag; dan lust je wel wat.
Deze heilige Ribeira is een mooi zachte, mild exotische witte wijn. Zwak mineralig, peer, limoen, granny smith. Zachte zuren ondanks jonge leeftijd. Prima! — 5 years ago
A wonderful full flavoured wine. It’s complexity is such that it has aromas of a fruity Sauvignon Blanc and after a sip the finish of a smooth Chardonnay. It would go with any food or just on its own. Brilliant. — 6 years ago

Definitely a trocken. Dry and acidic in a good way. — 9 years ago
I'm discovering I'm a Riesling fan. Crisp, minerals and citrus aromas. Nice one — 9 years ago

KG - so delicious! Has the perfect blend of grapes to satisfy my want for acidity, but rounded out so I’m not puckered. Lovely! — 3 years ago
