Medium bodied but packs a punch. Raspberry jam, maple bacon, Galaxy (in the US, Dove) chocolate bar. Good grip. Sustains well.

i bought this on release. Opened a bottle 2 years later and it was so tight it didnt for the entire dinner. Opened yesterday and to my surprise the tannins had completely softened and a wonder wine swirling in my glass. There wasn't much of a nose, but this soft well-balanced Tuscan gem red fruit and a hint of anise. Longer finish.

v15. Nice wine. Toasted tobacco nose. Deep , round , young blackberry and soft tar fruit. Lean, slightly bitter finish.

Second time drinking this wine and enjoyed it much more this time. 10 years have rounded this wine that has a pleasant acidity. Impressive showing

Much better after 30 min decant

Was expecting a bit more from it. Give it air if you have one.

Very tight & somewhat closed that needs more time

Tasty but not sure worth the $80 price. Love James Suckling rating but best ever seems a stretch.
