Sauternes Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend

Not the deepest or most complex but a fitting end to a great family dinner. Honeyed apricot nose. Great balance but not a lot of complexity.

Drank with blueberry cheesecake at broken bow with the smiths. Really light but excellent. Not cloying at all. Lighter than other d’Arche, but really like with the cheesecake.

2009 vintage. 2.15.23.

It’s ok. Simple, but effective. Lots of overripe fruit, honey, lavender. Not much else. Super sweet. Almost nothing on the nose of the finish. Ok.

En fillette, beau petit Sauternes à point! Caramel, un peu de vernis, orange brulé. acidité bien balancé belle finale. Bu sur 3 jours.
