Another solid vintage of this NZ Sauvy B. Bright golden color with green highlights. Aromas of citrus, fresh herbs/grass and tropical fruit. Flavors of grapefruit, lime,passion fruit with a mix mineral/wet stone based backbone. Distinct saline note on the long and crisp and clean finish. Bright acidity and medium body and alcohol (13.5%). Solid freshness and precision. Enjoyed with Asian food at Youyu in the Hard Rock in Atlantic City.

Flavours of grapefruit and mango are present on the palate. It has a long finish beginning with tropical fruits and ending with sea salt. This wine paired well with sushi.

It feels like an old friend and an archetypal Kiwi Sauvignon number. Grapefruit, boysenberry, lemon, a touch of yogurt in the rear as well as that herbal, cat piss thing. The palate is marked by a super strong acid backbone, some grapefruit and lemony notes all along, a creamy thing in the mouthfeel, some strong grip in the rear and a an electric-like finish with a fresh, super focused acid drive, some grapefruit and lemony notes that go on for a while. Great example of its kind in a real focused style.
