Nose - soil, wet stone and petrichor/rainy day. Main flavors - delicate stone fruit like plum, cherry and an after taste of fruit pits. Mouthfeel - silky upfront and the a little bit of acid and zing on the back. Really approachable wine. Don’t sleep on dolcetto! Lovely wine. — a year ago

Super aromatic. Crisp as fuck. Slight tropical fruit notes. Acid and mildly sweet at front of pallet, creamy and smooth to finish. 10/10 would leave my bear for it. — 6 years ago
Flavorful, punchy, and fruity — 2 months ago
All around nice wine. Medium acidity, medium tannins. Cherry and dark fruit aromas. Good by itself and pairs nicely with our homemade Tuscan style potato soup. — 8 months ago
Cloudy butter yellow in color. Verdant apple mineral nose. Tart juice apple, citric acid, dirty rocks/mineral taste. — 3 years ago
Nice fruitiness and bit of residual sugar here at 9% Alc. Juicy with ripe citrus and stone fruit.
Just lacking some of the acidic tension and verve I crave. But for $12?!? What’s not to love about the undervaluation of German Riesling? — 7 years ago
Superb! Volcanic minerals, saline, mountain herbs, citrus. Anna knows! — 3 months ago

Strawberries, raspberries, and a hint of rubber tree. Fresh and lively. Short on lived on my tongue, disappeared like a cab franc might. — 6 years ago

Never had rosso de montepulciano, I never knew this was a different region then montepulciano. Wife picked this up and it is very good. I got an education from a Tuscan friend about the region I will keep an eye out for rosso de montepulciano wines. — 7 years ago
