Bought this at the winery last month. I was surprised how good the wines were. Maybe I was a bit prejudiced. How could the state where I live make good wines? This has a surprisingly youthful and deep color. I love the nose. Deep, sweet berries, some warm sandstoney gravel, a wee vanillin sweetness from some nicely restrained oak. Very right-bankish in the mouth. There’s some fruit, but cedary notes and clay-like minerality are quite prominent. Tannins very soft and resolved. Finish is long. Seems fully mature. — 10 months ago
Another surprising hit from Virginia even if not as impressive as the two Italian whites. Light pink color with good fruits and floral rose notes and balanced acidity on palate. Great food wine again. AA7 deal! — 6 years ago

This followed a bottle of Barboursville Virginia Octagon. Good call. This is awesome with a holiday supper with dear friends and family. Supple black fruits, smoked meat classic Syrah nose. 🎶"Heaven, I'm in heaven..."🎶 — 8 years ago
So spot on!! Yes, 12 yrs was needed to turn the corner to let her sing in Italian ;) — 6 months ago
This wine looks yellow-gold with a greenish tint to it. The nose is quite aromatic, displaying a floral note along with massive citrus minerality. The palate has lemon, lime and grapefruit flavors joined by a wonderful salinity. The acidity is very fresh, but the mouthfeel has, overall, a rather soft touch. It’s great to find a Vermentino of this quality that’s made in America. Virginia is for Vermentino lovers, I suppose. — a year ago
