Honestly thought this was a Champagne in our blind. Turned out to be a German Pinot Blanc Sekt. Wow! Aromas of citrus, brioche, almond, chalk, some lingering herbs. Very pure on the palate, with wicked acidity and chalky minerality. Drinks like a charm, plus it helps that Bastian’s such a great bloke. Also noted that BR and FK did think that more time on lees would have improved the depth and textural quality of the wine. — 2 years ago

More like a young barbaresco or alto Piemonte Nebbiolo. Perfumed with a little bit of mountain character, but very firm tannins that have yet to soften. — 15 days ago
