The perfect accompaniment to plum pudding. Very toffee and raisiny with intensity at 18.5% ABV. My son who rarely drinks anything loved it. Don’t worry. I’m sure I haven’t created a monster. He still went for his regular 10K run on Boxing Day. Rutherglen fortifieds are one of Australia’s gifts to the world of wine. — a year ago
Med body, savoury acid, reasonably simple but nice length — 3 years ago
[Half-bottle] This lovely sweet orange peel and apricot Australian Muscadelle is a great stickie for dessert with some Junior’s Gooey Butter Cake from Costco, long finish, still miss our couple of visits with Bill Chambers at the winery (first in 1989)!! — 3 months ago

Great wine to enjoy with a friend or alone!
Before I opened, refrigerated for 20 minutes and The more I let it breathe the more I enjoyed the wine. The Tempranillo grape used for this wine, made it a wine I would definitely drink again. — 3 years ago

2004 Vintage Overtly green and herbal on the nose but still with lovely Cabernet sweet fruit and fine tannin. — 4 years ago
Big Wave Dave
Exceptional chardonnay with the latent power of a GC burgundy, but with salinity and tannic grip. Beautiful nose with reductive gunsmoke, apple, and baking spices. The structure is the perfect fit for the intense and powerful flavour bomb: lemon merengue pie, smoke, tangerine, all in perfect balance. The concentration and length are world class. As long as I can remember of ANY wine I have tasted. World class for A$90 — a month ago
