Quite nice, even better with food. BG Iowa City. ~$20 DEFINITELY want to have again, and again. — 4 years ago
First time trying this. We are closet fans of BG, but this falls short. Nice nose of cherry jam, gives way to a barnyard note on the palate. The texture is moderate, as is the sweetness. But overall, this is one-dimensional, which lacks complexity. We’ll let it breathe to see if it comes out to play... — 6 years ago

I only give Wagner credit for his business sense, cannot give him credit for his wines🤷🏼♂️

Big fan of Bugey Cerdon and this drinks a lot like BG. 8.5% ABV with a little residual sugar. Delicious with strawberry, raspberry and red cherry. The fruit is a little ripe and tasty. — 3 years ago
Lovely, especially for the price of less than $20. BG downtown Iowa City. — 4 years ago
Last of a 6pk. I love this wine — 5 years ago
Candied strawberries, cream, and hints of zest. Delicious! $13 at BG. A crowd-pleasing aperitif for almost any occasion no doubt. — 5 years ago
Bustling strawberries on the nose; fig and vanilla, with hints of clove/baking spices. A touch of earthiness. Smooth tannin. $17 from BG. — 5 years ago
Extracted Pinot. Ink & fruit. Great upon opening but turned Belle Glossian after being open awhile. Maybe a little more refined than BG — 7 years ago
BG is my favorite Pinot. More burgundy than new world. — 4 years ago
Extended maceration for the win! Peach, tangerine/citrus, and marjoram with minerality. I’m also getting a buttery honeynut cheerio vibe, but whites aren’t my forte. One of my favorite whites I’ve had. BG rec from Mark. $14? — 5 years ago
Plum and black currant, chocolate, and crushed gravel. Very smooth, balanced tannins. Weekly deal at BG. $11. — 5 years ago
Deep mahogany, smells of figs/plums. Tastes like cherries. Very sweet — 7 years ago

Another new Bacigalupi, at least for me. I bought 3 each of the 16 & 21.
16’s are a bit oxidized so not seeing the ability to age like Rudd & Edge Hill bottling’s of BG — 7 months ago
