This wine has a rich yellow-green tint. On the nose I thought I smelled some oak, but I was mistaken. It’s all steel. There is an overriding salinity that mutes the floral, apricot and citrus aspects a bit. The palate carries that salinity as well. Another Catalunya blend. This one was a little more fruit expressive. Both on the nose and the palate. Seemed like more blue fruits but traces of red fruit snuck in there as well. Not as spicy as the previous blend I had as well. Over all a nice afternoon glass of wine. — 8 years ago

I would have hated this wine a few years ago, but I’ve learned to embrace some oak in California Chardonnay. Some melon here, citrus, minerals, vanilla, the oak is nicely integrated with the wine, I can dig. Paired with smoked wings. — 5 years ago

🇪🇸 A tasteful muscadet from Spain. Full body, fruity and not too dry for this type of varietal. A strong apple 🍎 taste with a sweet finish from the Gewürztraminer blended with and smooth to the palate. Crazy wine, and probably the most welcome departure from the Syrah-Fest of January '19. I was expecting a wine with a tiny bit of fruit but mostly notes reminiscent of a cigarette being put out in it. Whoah Mama! If blindfolded, there is no way I would have guessed that this was 100% cabernet from Spain, and 40 year old cabernet from Spain at that! Still had a lot of Blackberry on the front, but also hints of black tea, rhubarb. Leather and tobacco in the middle into the Finish. But this one finishes with a lot of black youthful fruit that is reminiscent of a wine that may have 10 years of age on it. Completely and totally awed. — 7 years ago
