Tempranillo aged for 11 months in French oak. Deep Ruby color with aromas of fruit, earthy and spicy notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with cedar, tobacco, leather and spice. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, tobacco, cedar and earthy mineral character. — a year ago
Same restaurant…same wine…haven’t found a better bottle at 19€ from a restaurant wine list in the area. They just serve their red bottles too cold. At Venta La Choza restaurant. — 3 years ago
Opaque ruby. Highly expressive, smoke- and oak spice-accented cherry liqueur and blueberry aromas are complemented by building floral, vanilla and tobacco nuances. Sappy, sweet and broad in the mouth, offering densely packed black and blue fruit, spicecake and floral pastille flavors that become livelier as the wine opens up. Shows excellent clarity and dark fruit thrust on the impressively long, oak-spiced finish, which is framed by polished, even tannins. All new French oak. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, April 2021)

No muy seco, buen sabor — 4 years ago
I pick up a lot of herbal influence along with some terrific strawberry and cherry aromas. The fruit plays large on the palate, too. There is a hint of pepper in the sip. Acidity is fresh, nearly ripping, and the finish is all about the red fruit — 6 years ago

Always a good value and tasty! A little more balanced and less “mulled wine” than I recall from earlier vintages. — 12 days ago
