What a beautiful representation of a balanced Burgundian Chardonnay - from the warmer climats of Burgundy. Rich and round on the palette with stone fruit and a balanced creaminess from the oak élevage. Medium alcohol and medium+ acidity. Lacks some of the minerality of a grand cru burg. — 2 months ago

I seem to be on a recent kick exploring rarely seen and exceedingly special wines. This time, it’s “Juliet”. Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a couple hours. The 2021 “Juliet” pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose the wine is developing with matchstick for dayzzzz. There’s an abundance of fresh, ripe passion fruit, star fruit, peach, white flowers, lemon verbena, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and the texture is out of this world. Incredible. Drink now through 2041. — 11 days ago
