Deep ruby in color; black cherries, dried herbs, and black pepper on the nose; intense acidity; medium tannins; tastes like sour cherries, blackberries, and spices with a long, slightly peppery finish — 3 years ago

This is my favorite white wine. I’m a sucker for earthy/yeasty/cloudy wines in red so this is quite a surprise in white — 8 years ago
One of our favorite everyday Cabs. Deep ruby with aromas of dark cherry, currant, plum, blackberry, stewed fruits, tobacco, and a bit of mustiness. On the bud, super smooth with a nice long finish. Flavors of stewed fruits and dark berries, Fabulous with our coffee rub Ribeyes! — a year ago

Very nice burgeland Cuvee, well balanced — 5 years ago
Red and blue fruits give way to orange zest , animal fur ,baking spices violets and minerals . Rich and full-bodied on the palate yet has Wonderful elegance and mineral infused finish with lingering cherry and dry extract . This wine comes from the valley floor and you get the richness and depth from the heavier soil. A stunning bottle that will improve over the next few years and last at least a decade more . — 7 years ago

Very good Bordeaux blend from Becker winery of Texas Hill Country. This vintage had 39% Cabernet Franc, along with Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Lovely taste that paired well with food. Drank in December 2023 — 3 years ago
"This intensely colored red is beautifully balanced and complex. Deliciously vibrant dark berry and licorice abound on the nose and palate, enhanced by notes of spice and black pepper. Smooth and round in the mouth, this velvet textured wine has a long lingering refined finish." — 5 years ago
Raisins bit of Sherry-like taste. Not a lot of tanines but makes lips tingle. Quite nice and full. Easy enough to drink. — 5 years ago
a delicious red.
Bear says: not so dry but quite forward; delightful — 6 years ago
More spice and less full fruit character than Central/Gibbston expression.. nose says plum but palate is dominated by Sour cherry giving freshness. Tasted back to back with the Etna, this lost bigtime. — 7 years ago
