Love Carlisle and this is a great wine with a very floral nose of blackberry and pepper. Lush and long finish, well done Mike! — 9 months ago
Carlisle stuff is so well-crafted. Great smoke & rich berry. Beautiful blueberry nose. Easily could sit another 3-5yrs. — 5 years ago
Chewy, cloudy, ripe and smooth as a baby’s butt! zoom tasting with Mike Officer. Asian spice and dark berry notes...tannin and alcohol totally integrated. Worked well with teriyaki salmon and pickled cucumbers. Apart from crumbly dry corks... I love my Carlisles with 12-15 years of age. Thanks Mike... for your passion and life spent chasing the dream of old vine fruit! — 6 years ago

Great wine for a fun birthday — 6 years ago
Wow. A powerhouse with finesse. A nose of freshly picked blackberries and chocolate pie. Glides along the palate effortlessly revealing blackberry, chocolate ganache, and pepper flavors. Lush and full-bodied. Super silky tannins with a long, loamy finish. Really impressive effort. I love this winery and this is a perfect example why. — 8 years ago
