Of the 2020 releases from Marc Delienne (which has been quite the trip to work through), this was the cheapest, cleanest, and my favourite. Needs a little air to unfurl aromas of pomegranate, raspberry, and tomato leaves. Bright and juicy, with a rich texture to boot. Nice underlying minerality and spice. Needed 1 hour last night then it got reductive. But today oh man! Nose is glorious red fruits, granite, herbs and flowers. Clay, iron ore. Some blackberry as well. palate is raw and feral with blood, guts and meat. Concentrated and linear. Unreal texture and finish but needs a decade. — 8 months ago
