Château La Fleur Milon

Baronne Philippine de Rothschild

Pastourelle de Clerc Milon Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2018

This was Pastourelle Clerc Milon. Second label of Clerc Milon, was quite good with some fruit, and reasonable price — 20 days ago

Château Mourgues du Gres

Fleur d'Eglantine Costières-de-Nîmes Rosé Blend 2023

The description: Fleur d’Eglantine gets its name from its acidulous freshness and its luminous colour, reminiscent of the petals of the wild roses that surround our vinyards. It’s a delicate rosé, airy and acidic, which unites floral aromas and crunchy red berries. Grape Grenache mixed with Mourvèdre and a dash of Syrah

The opinion: Superb really good value drinking. Great depth and texture for the price. Off to buy some more.

Château Clerc Milon

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend

Jeroboam 2005. They say this was a challenging vintage. This bottling beats the challenge. 21 years from harvest it opens up beautifully. Luscious leather, dark cherry with tobacco and currant. The nose is as if you stepped into a new car 2 hours after someone baked christmas spice cookies. — 3 months ago

Château Fleur Cardinale

Grand Cru Classé Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend

Strawberries, black cherries, dark chocolate and truffles. Very powerful. Apparently it is aged in 100% new oak, which is often not the best idea, but in this one it's perfectly integrated. Very long finish. — a month ago

Fleur de Pedesclaux

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2020

2029 vintage. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot. Cassis and flowers, and a little graphite. Juicy black fruits, very fresh and elegant, with ripe, gentle tannin. Abv. 13%. You can't go wrong with Pédesclaux these days. — 4 months ago
