Blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromas of ripe red fruit, rose petals, dried red flowers and eucalyptus. Red and black cherry/raspberry and boysenberry fruit on the palate along with additional notes of chocolate, toffee, savory spices and mint. Well integrated oak on the long and slightly chewy finish. Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate and complex.

Showing limes, green apples, herbs, earth, yeast, brioche, light strawberries, spices, minerals and white pepper.

Nice finish, elegant and easy drinking.

Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.

Good by itself or with food. I paired it with fried shrimp and calamari.

A blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Meunier. Bottled in 2009 and disgorged in 2017.
