Les Cailloux du Paradis (Claude Courtois)

Racines Vin de pays du Loir-et-Cher Red Blend 2020

Interesting wine, 13 grapes, natural without being annoying. Opens up nicely. Not overly heavy, nice balance. Fresh with good acid. Good suggestion from the fine folks at Joe Beef in Montreal, and a good pairing with the very rich food here. — 7 days ago

Morgeot Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay 2017

Medium lemon yellow colour . Quite rich and ripe on the nose with buttered popcorn , lemon oil , toasty hints and some honeysuckle and peach . On the palate this is also quite rich , with lemon peel , apricot and but balanced by good acidity and a quite saline mineral , seashell tinged finish . Drinking well now and over the next 5-8 years. From a half bottle . — 5 months ago
