Happy New Year all! 🍾🥂
This 07 outshines/performs the overall vintage.
Outstanding mousse & lively acidity. Lime zest, lemon pulp in juice, grapefruit w/ pith, orange citrus blend with peel, kiwi, tropical melons, white nectarines, excellent white spice, baguette crust, gritty white chalk, dry, crushed limestone bits, grey volcanics, oyster shells, saline/sea spray, light tones of fresh herbs, yellow lilies, spring flowers with greens, excellent acidity, well; structured, balanced, knitted, beautiful finish that is even and lands on minerality & spice. — 9 months ago
It’s 1/2 bottle n/v Billecart evening.
This is a more appropriate color of rose for the Rosé color of this champagne.
My go to n/v Rosé Champange for a number of reasons…quality & 1/2 bottle availability are right up there.
Blood orange, black cherries, Rainer cherries, lean strawberries, pomegranate juice, hints of raw rhubarb, grainy, grippy, sharp chalkiness, crunchy volcanics, limestone, sea fossils, baguette crust, deep white spice, orange lilies, peach roses, excellent, lively acidity with a rich, well balanced smart finish that starts clean, ripe fruits falling onto perfect minerality. — 5 years ago

Fresh and pristine even at 10 years of age. Arguably Australia’s best Riesling - certainly in the top 3. Aromatics of lime juice with a tiny hint of TDN (paraffin in this case) and a hint of honey. Overall ultra pure with M+ intensity and a touch of peach on the palate. This could be confidentally cellared for another 5 years for added complexity. Dry Riesling doesn’t get much better than this. — 3 days ago
Fresh serie A juice. — 9 months ago
Great color in the decanter... medium gold with an enticing perfume. Notes of sweet Meyer lemon, apricot, gravel stone, tan clay, some mint, a little ginger and some sweet marzipan. Has an exotic and slightly musty (desirable) funk. Huge weight with great fruit and solid acidity in the mouth. Decanted for 2 hours before drinking. Awesome juice! If you Google “why should I age white burgundy?”, an image of this 35 year old bottle should be shown... — 6 years ago

This is the best tasting juice of 2020. — 6 years ago
Decanted ~5hr.
Color is brown ruby, unfiltered.
Nose has cedar infused cherry-red raspberry, rose-violet florals, touch of alcohol, bright potpourri and wet soil. Nose is quite tight!
Palate has strawberry juice, orange peel, under-ripe cherry, dried herbs, blackberry jam and great (high) acidity. Finish is medium at this point in a young life.
Soo young, but very elegant! Future bottles should be 2023+
Lightly cloudy on the double decant for service this afternoon. Part of an epic E&M based afternoon plan as we sit by the chimnea on a beautiful early Spring day. The Cardinal's and Chickadee's are now singing the background chorus. — 8 years ago

Light gold in glass. Awesome nose. Notes of lemon, apricot, petrol, crushed stone, cardamom spice and a little white clay. Rich and well balanced in the mouth. Long finish. Leaves a sweetness impression. Still young with great acidity, and on its upslope... Can get better with a bit more age I think. Great juice. — 7 years ago

Light aroma and body, hint of strawberry, slightly bitter aftertaste on its own, smoothed out when paired with a deconstructed BLT at Lune. — a month ago
