A rare variety, Gringet, produced at a single vineyard in Savoie. The winegrower in question gave his life for this variety, effectively, and this is the last vintage he made, or so I was told. You can research the story online.
Good acid, orchard fruit aromas, stone fruit and citrus flavors, mineral finish. I’m glad I got a taste and let’s hope more will be made by a daring winemaker or winegrower. — 3 years ago
