It says Tremblay-Marchive, which I think is the estate where the fruit is from, but it’s made by Domaine des Malandes. Nose has classic seashelly limestone with a bit of brothiness. The citrusy fruit has a slight herbal edge. Crisp and balanced, though not especially deep. — 3 years ago
Nice, humble, pear notes and apricot, some zest. Not flashy but no errors either. — 4 years ago
Great price. Very light and dry. — 5 years ago
Red cherry and berries, elegant floral notes, standard vosne spices. This is a stellar burgundy that hits all the right notes and does so with delicacy and elegance. — 7 years ago
Good. Pairs well with many foods. Buy it again. 2016 vintage. **** — 7 years ago
Nose: mineral. Acid. Classic village Chablis.
Palate : some spice. Hint of fat. Mineral. Classic.

Medium rubi robe, nose of cherries and spices. It has good complexity and lots of fruit, but also some wood in it, being well absorbed but easy to spot. Its a very good bottle, wine used to be done with Chambolle and Vosne young vines, dont know in 2018 but its a safe bet anyway. Would be much better off with less new wood. — 7 months ago
Pale lemon in color, this energetic young Chablis expresses precise aromas of lemon, lime, green apple, white peach with a hint of oyster shell and wet stones. Medium bodied with a zesty high acidity and intense flavors, the 2020 Chablis Vieilles Vignes from Bessin-Tremblay is game on. Drink now or until 2030. — 4 years ago
Kinda like a beaune village wine. Floral with medium body. A bit lean as an 14 — 5 years ago

Rich and nicely balanced wine with great acid and minerality alongside of ripe citrus and Asian apple/pear fruit. Extremely enjoyable wine. — 4 months ago
It is the perfect wine to enjoy with fish to chicken. Plenty of flavor minus the heavy California oak. After I open a bottle, It just magically disappears. And it’s a bargain given the price was just $23. — 2 years ago
IMO, MG makes one of the absolute best Clos Vougeot’s. This one drank very youthful and primary but all the material is there for this to be a fantastic bottle down the road. It showed much more producer and vineyard than it did the vintage. There was none of the overt greenness that you can often get with 2011’s. Along with Rousseau, Dujac and Tremblay, MG’s 2011’s are very impressive.
After an initial shyness it does reveal itself after a multi hour decant and begins to waft from the glass with aromas of dark fruit, florals and spices. On the palate it’s deep, elegant and pure with fine grained tannins, excellent focus and delineation. But you can tell it wishes to resume its slumber. It often went back and forth from showing great fruit expression to then aromas of woodsmoke and savory herbs. But the herbal qualities are not at all off putting and just add to complexity. I would love to check in on this again with more bottle age. It is clear that it will have a lot to offer those with more patience than me. — 5 years ago
