Nose: pink roses. Blackberry flower. Really really pretty.

Palate: so silky. Elegant blackberries. Luscious. A certain grip. Sexy, seductive finish.

One of my favorite wines we get almost nothing of. Pure class in 23. Gorgeous, floral aromas, black cherry, hint of reduction, limestone galore. The palate is young but with extraordinary fruit. Pure. Zero hard edges and really energetic. Acid is on point. Such sweet fruit developing with air. So sappy and dense. Unreal. Wow. Nose now confectionary blackberry and black raspberry. Fun Dip powders. And the stick kind of. Palate gets elegant with such fruit authority. Unbelievably delicious. But has a decade plus and will benefit greatly. — 3 months ago

Lovely intense medium cherry lipstick nose. Palate is crunchy cherries. Delicious. Perfect balance. Amazing freshness. Stay tuned ... this will change as it opens.

As it opens the nose is dense perfume. Really concentrated. Almost like a gas transforming into a liquid in your nostrils.

Palate is amazing. Terrific texture. Crazy internal aromatics. Palate coating beyond belief.

90 minutes in this is spectacularly delicious.

This vaporizes chevillon so bad it’s not funny. Cant believe this is a village wine. Wow.

Tanins are still a bit chunky. My guess is that they need another 2-3 years to smooth out.

Have not had this in 3 years. In a great place. Big cherries on the nose. Strawberry as well. Jammy but in the best possible way. Very aromatic. Palate has huge fruit, firm tannins and the always terrific Julien acidity. So fresh. Big 2012 density, volume and amplitude. — 9 years ago
