Very smooth Chardonnay from Burgundy. Not the oaky style Chardonnay from Cali, this French white is delicate with mineral accents. — 6 years ago

classy, $30 -- very light, with a long finish — 2 months ago
Deep ruby/purple/burgundy in colour, dense and well built wine, ready to drink. Solid and well balanced. It took a while to open up, better on the 2nd day. — 6 months ago
It can be difficult for me to identify the flavors in wine, but the pinot noir in this wine expressed beautiful fruit on the nose and palate, but slightly higher acidity which (to me) clashed ever so slightly with the taste. Don't mistake me though, this wine is excellent and is very well done — 5 years ago
Fruity flavors of raspberry and cherry. Medium acidity and earthy flavors with a little spice at the end. Went really well with pork chops. Bought at Riverdale Vintner. $19.99. — 8 years ago
2024 vintage. Excellent Chardonnay, young vintage but shows decent acidity with a crisp light oak finish. — 3 months ago
Depth and complexity. Very very good. — 9 months ago
A brilliant vintage for this wine. A top 5 Crozes. Easy. Spice, game, some funk, blueberry, black berry, black cherry, huge granite and even some wilted flowers. Young but tasty palate of dazzling granite and velvety tannins and engaging energy from the minerality. Terrific power, depth and concentration. Needs 5 years. So long and such beautifully defined fruit on the incredibly long finish. Really rich and dark. Awesome. Wait 5 years. As this opens the balance becomes superb. Almost a 9.4. I’ll be back. — 6 years ago
Deep brassy-gold. Nose is very interesting: apricot, wet carbon steel, and a sweet umami-like note that slightly conjures anchovy. Deep and extremely low-toned flavors. Very Marsanne in its broad, low-toned notes and almost pungent, slightly bitter mineral finish. Unusual, but it works. — 7 years ago
Thanksgiving day three 11/25/17. Blind tasting vs Guigal and Crozes. Lots of barnyard funk and a bit of heat and black fruits and meats and long finish. Thought it Colombier due to funk. Best value at Acker 6. — 9 years ago

2023 vintage. The second wine of Château Brown is a blend of around 60/40 Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Aged on the lees for 8 months in oak barrels and egg-shaped concrete tanks. Deep yellow colour. Exotic fruit and spices. Could do with a bit more tension, but attractive. Abv. 13%. — 8 days ago
