This out of gate shows real freshness.
Bruised apple/pear, citrus blend w/ grapefruit leading the charge, malt, ginger, graham cracker, chalky powder, limestone marl, light bread dough to baguette crust, withering yellow flowers, excellent rainfall acidity, balanced, nicely toned, elegant and smartly elegant polish that lasts a full minute and lands on soft spice - volcanics.

2022. Had side-by-side with the similarly delicious Weiser-Künstler “Enkircher Steffensberg im Löwenbaum" Riesling Spatlese 2022. The Lauer has a tiny bit more complex flavor and a little more mouthwatering acidity. I would gladly enjoy either wine again over the next few decades! — a year ago

A text book, Sevres standard of a Chablis.
Razor sharp, oyster fresh and with brilliant minerality yet also quite some breadth.
Brilliant freshness & great depth.
Packs a punch on the palate - fresh lemon juice paired with chalky minerality. The length is infinite. And the depth inspiring.
A brilliant food wine but also nice for sipping. — 6 months ago
Consistency is their middle name.
This has just started to shift from fresh to aging.
Bruised red apple/pear, lemon, lime zest, tropical melons, drier stone fruits, whipped cream, ginger, brioche, graham cracker, very light caramel/butterscotch notes, grey volcanics, limestone marl, sea fossils, gritty chalk, white & yellow flowers with greens, excellent lively acidity and a well balanced-knitted, elegant & smartly polished finish that lasts near two-minutes. — a month ago
