My buddy @Nathaniel DiMaggio turned me onto this producer. The 15s are lights out. Not from an exceptional vineyard but definitely 1er cru in name and quality. Essential oil on the nose with lemon, quince and super green lime. Acacia flowers as well. Textured but not rich. Mineral but not angular. Just really really nice and worth seeking out — 6 years ago
Second time tasting this bottle. This is an entry level 1er Cru Red Burgundy by one of my favorite producers there. Color screams Pinot, and the nose takes you there: red cherry, forest, clean wet earthy scents. The palate is vibrant with ripe red fruit deep minerality, high acidity, medium alcohol, soft tannins, and plush witty finish with a whiplash cherry note on the very end. A great wine that tastes great young, and under a Benjamin too. Roars real value. Chill for best tasting experience, the coldness tames the fruit. Loving this! — a year ago
Outstanding example of Cali Pinot. Even more so since this is 2012 vintage. Overripe cherries and coffee notes explode on the nose. The palate displays crunchy black fruits along with syrop de cassis. Superb grainy tannins combine with bright acidity. A reference point in Sonoma/Cali.

Good gosh… this is stunning! Ethereal and laser focused. Brioche and almonds, peaches and dirt on the nose. Consistent representation on the palate. Sublime texture and weight. This is a nosebleed by the glass at Nougatine 😕
$85 on the market. For the loot, it’s a buy for sure. — 3 years ago
Lime, chamomile, white flowers on the nose, delicate white tea notes but also extremely extroverted. Mellow acid, green apple, and just a tiny hint of oak. Very mellow showing for this area and producer given the age. 13.5% — 4 years ago

Preferred this over the Chartron Clos de Cailleret of the same vintage. — 7 months ago
