Excellent, balanced, quite a lot of alcohol and tannin (some sediment in neck of the bottle) — a year ago
A disappointing bottle. Decanting it still seemed very tight. Apart from basic burgundy flavors it had none of the prettiness associated with RSV — 3 years ago
Approachable and bright. Light fruit notes with polish. — a month ago
Plummy color tinged with tan, nose of woodsy mushroom, brown bread turned earth. Strong entry of cherry bursting through earth and cedar root. Chewy tannins show this very much alive and brimming with secret power! So good, so nice!

Star of the night. Showed powerfully from the start. Nice level jump with great length oodles of complexity. Light honey and underlying sweetness. Can only imagine what this will be in 10 years. — a month ago
