100% Grenache. One of three new wines from Clos Sainte Magdeleine. Oh my. Nothing in the world like standing in that vineyard, then tasting their lineup, then going for a swim in that cove afterward. What a day. — 7 years ago

2015 vintage. Not easy to find the right information on this lovely estate, on their website there is no mention of a white wine at all. On the internet you will find a white and red "Sainte-Radegonde". I have no idea if this "Les Pins Francs" is another wine or the same under another label, but confusion aside it is absolutely delicious. Sauvignon shines through in the nose with grassy flavours mixed with lime, flowers and a more exotic fruit component I associate with Sémillon. In the mouth concentrated peach fruit and lemon confit, perfectly balanced by the acidity and a long fresh minty finish. Terrific value too at about 17 euro. Kudos to owner Pascal Collotte! — 6 years ago
