Simply brilliant! 2 hours slow ox and drank over the next three aromatically a bit dark, nose of tar, tobacco, dried rose petals wonderfully beautifully mid palate brilliantly balanced the wine is simply amazing! — 14 days ago
2005 vintage. Great fill and cork. Decanted and tasted after two hours. Small amount of chunky and powdery sed. Nose a bit musty but never funky during a high decant. Medium-heavy body. Tremendous power throughout. Can easily go another two decades. Still packing the signs of youth such as individual flavors easily evident vs melded/integrated ones. Tasted more like a 2020 vintage. Was hoping for more black tea, espresso, orange citrus peel, soy sauce notes (and there were some). This one's gonna need a bigger boat...er...another 7-8 years or a 5 hour decant to shed some of that overt power in a trade off for nuance. Delicious in its own way but not easy. Demanding. 04.04.25. — a month ago
Fruity flavors, tastes like premium Cotes du Rhone, enjoyable on its own — 10 days ago
Off the chain. This RSV is elegant in every way with nice floral hints on the nose and velvety texture on the palate. Nice medium to longish finish. A real treat from a friend that is a self described “Burgundy-snob.” Maybe a very generous Burgundy snob. His mother taught him to share. — a month ago

1989 vintage. Decent fill and cork. Not decanted. Powdery, not chunky, sed. Tasted after 3.5 hours open. Light-medium body. Nose and flavors kept up the intensity in complete harmony. Special. Well-stored examples should yield similar pleasure for another 5-6 years. 03.29.25. — a month ago

Best and last bottle of this from the collection. Very classic with a depth and breadth that puts the 2010 at seven years it's senior levels ahead of the 2017. Classic! — 16 days ago
