Comparing two top end Taurasi from Feudi di San Gregorio
The Rosamilia, coming across slightly heavier vs Fievo with dark plum, baked black cherry, a hint of cinnamon and the black volcanic minerality more pronounced. A hint of coffee dregs or very dark roasted espresso.
On the palate, slightly fuller than Fuevo, the pronounced yet juicy tannins and brilliant acidity. The dark spicy plums are on the forefront.
Brilliant depth & length, still a baby though.
Probably should wait longer than Fievo. Might need to dip into my 2016s instead. — 20 days ago

Great wine with a fantastic pqr.
Cherries all over and a silk mouth feel. The tertiary notes are showing very slightly after some 12 years. But the fruit pushes that aside still. — a month ago

This is a wine that fits perfect on a hot summer day sitting outside enjoying the weather. Incredibly crisp and fresh, with the perfect amount of acidity. Pale in color, with great minerality. Very very good and would drink again — 10 months ago
