Wonderful stuff, from a high quality producer — 3 years ago
This was great. Smooth and dry but very well balanced. Definitely smoother than any other Alentejo red I’ve had. A bit of spice with dark berries. Looking forward to revisiting — 4 years ago
Full body and well balanced wine. Purple fruit, hint of cacao. Easy wine, light on tannins. — 6 years ago

This is the wine we drink with all of our oyster dishes — 8 years ago
Took a while for this wine to be recognized. At its peak. I couldn’t imagine aging this any longer. Heavy on the fruit and forest floor. Oaky and Smokey. I wish this was available outside of the winery. I guess that means I need to take a trip back to pick up a couple more bottles. — 11 days ago

Lovely green wine. Nice and refreshing — 4 years ago
Medium lemon; medium intensity aromas of yellow apple, firm apricot, cream, custard, salinity; dry, high acid, medium alcohol, medium plus body, medium plus intensity flavors consistent with aromas; medium plus finish, concentrated bright fruit with complexity from rich creamy notes and minerality , very crisp acid balances the body and creaminess, makes you want to keep drinking it — 5 years ago

Sake-like finish — 7 years ago
Medium lemon /straw . Quite ripe fruit , with apricot , peach , touch of toasty oak . Again richer and riper on the palate , with yellow fruits , quite a lot of oak , toasty notes . Ok length and intensity . Medium acidity and a creamy mouthfeel . Quite a textual wine. Well balanced , reasonable length finish. Drink from now and over the next 5 -8 years. — 5 months ago
So smooth and rich! Brought back from Cartuxa winery in Portugal. — 3 years ago
Father in law said he would bring me back a Cartuxa (Reserva) when he goes back to Portugal in October… so I opened this.
Love it. — 4 years ago

Their Vinho Tinto is fantastic. Their Branco? Equally good. Alentejo strikes again. Pairing it with queijo , rissos, and robalo. — 7 years ago
A lot of salinity. Quite good. — 8 years ago

This is so wonderful but the vineyards are disappearing at a fast clip to make room for beachfront property. Lots of acid. Builds weight and richness with air and temp in the glass. Citrus to tropics. Lees? Broad minerality. — 22 days ago
