If someone had never tasted a Napa Valley Cab, I would happily pour this for reference. It's bold and great. I'm enjoying the balance of ripe, dark fruit with tasteful oak additions. There's a hint of eucalyptus, and pleasant leathery tannins. I personally would take this over Silver Oak or Heitz with my ribeye, and that's not just my wallet talking. $50 well spent.

I'm really glad I bought this bottle as I haven't have this as a single varietal before. Really light garnet color here that I found intriguing. A red fruit and funk nose. On the palate, the red fruit is lovely, but this is also smoky and bacony. A great white pepper finish as well... I love this! — 4 years ago

This sub $10 Trader Joe’s treasure really shines. The butter is restrained and balanced, also has a bright acidity. Notes of citrus on the nose and caramel, vanilla and butterscotch on the palate. Great delightful wine to pair with spicy food. — 4 months ago
Blackberry bramble, hints of mint and pine needles, vanilla, and char on the nose. Chewy cherries, blueberries, kirsch and cooked down plum, vanilla extract with a medium body and soft tannins that linger on a medium-long finish. Great crowd pleaser and solid value. — 4 years ago
Such a favourite- flinty, great acid and balance — 3 years ago

Very hipster tattoo styled label. 52% Petite Verdot, 25% Cab Sauv, 23% Malbec. Dark, dark maroon color. Aroma is gravel and molasses. Maybe a hint of berry. Flavors are beefy and big. Lots of dried black cherry. Some molasses. Tannins are well represented. Has that classic Matchbook herbal streak. This went well with the lamb and mushroom dish I made. A great blend. Lots of zip and zing. Delicious. — 5 days ago
