My first carricante. Floral citrus nose, pale yellow, complex minerality with a perfect sour/sweet finish. Thanks, Costco. This is a top-drawer white. — 3 months ago
— 12 days ago

Opened at least an hour prior to service. The 2016 Furore Bianco “Fiorduva” pours a deep straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with beautiful notes of yellow and white flowers, quince, kumquat, and saline minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long. This wine is simply awesome. I’d love more of this in my life. Drink now. — 3 months ago

Fabulous white Lange from Novello — 24 days ago
Paolo Bea dinner at Semo. All wines were prepared by opening and slow-ox, prior to service. Abbreviated notes due to the setting. The The 2020 Santa Chiara appears a deep orange color with notes of marmalade, apricot, flowers, and varnish (VA). The palate shows low+ tannin and decent acid. Tasty, complex stuff as usual. A lovely pairing with gougère of prosciutto, green olive and honey. Drink now through 2030-ish. Bottle No. 2814/5940 — 2 months ago

Wonderfully lively blend from volcanic soils in Lazio, lees aged, made by nuns! Chamomile, almond, fennel, green apple and citrus, salt and rocks…wasn’t long before there was nun left. — a month ago
