Really good Lalande de Pomerol from the Guinaudeau family. Its now called Les Perrieres de Lafleur, an allusion to the fact the vines are from Lafleur’s “selection massale”. Nose of floral notes, very precise sculpted mouth of dark berries and “rose fannee”, great acidity and balance, ends on tobacco notes. Its very accessible now but lors of potential to age. Great bottle and the quality price ratio is hard to beat ! — 7 years ago

Ample aroma. Aged black currant, black fruits flavor. A bit dry. Mid +, at least one hour, two hours decanting might be better. @4500, Enoteca - KH, 181229-190101 — 7 years ago
@Martin G Rivard take a bow. This is another awesome gift from my besty. A 6L to boot. Jen and James are celebrating their house-warming in NJ. I now have some little helpers in the area!
The wine was PERFECT. Nice cherry compote nose. Soft oak treatment, with touches of vanilla. Deftly balanced on the palate. Tannins are not quite resolved. Acid provides a nice lift. Such a linear expression of Bdx. Too large a format to consume on our own, hence my daughter and her husband benefited from Martin’s generosity. Cannot thank you enuf, bud! — 8 years ago

The 1995 Lafleur was bought and served blind by Baptiste Guinaudeau at a dinner in Saint-Émilion. It's not dissimilar to the bottle drunk in 2018. On the nose, there is black fruit with graphite and game hints. Given that it is now 27 years old, the 1995 is maturing at a glacial pace. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins that loosen up with aeration. With blackberry, black truffle and a touch of smoke, this Lafleur exudes Cabernet Franc on the finish. I thought that it might be ready to drink now, but this suggests it would be better to wait. Tasted in Bordeaux. (Neal Martin, Vinous, January 2023) — 3 years ago
The Guinaudeau family has started this wine few years ago. Young vines that came from Chateau Lafleur. As a matter of fact in 2018 its called “Les Perrerieres de Lafleur”. Great blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Dark rubi robe, dark berries nose, very polished tannins on a medium length medium body wine with good acidity and support to the fruit concentration. Hold for 4 to 5 years. One of the best new wines we have tried in a while. Highly recommended ! — 7 years ago

This wine is now called Les Perrieres de Lafleur because it has Cabernet Franc vines from the pépinière of the heralded Lafleur vineyard. Very dark rubi robe with no signs of aging. Tobacco and cedar notes, with violets and a hint of spices as well. Good density and medium length on a small vintage. Its an excellent bottle that is singing now but there is no rush. Very cabernet franc. — 16 days ago
