Elegant wine with a lovely balance of acidity with fruit. 14.7% alcohol but feels neither hot nor heavy. Beautiful flavors of strawberry, red cherry, black cherry, red plum, and red currant. This is a really great wine. Jeff Stewart is a wonderful winemaker (and a nice guy). This wine has a rich mouthfeel with restrained oak and enough acidity to enhance the fruit and experience. This worked great with a roasted chicken over an arugula salad, and the next day it worked just as well with take out burgers. Enjoy! — 5 months ago
