Pretty earthy. Tobacco, leather, mushrooms, graphite, bell pepper. Medium-full body with fine tannins. Long oaky finish. I would say this drinks above its price point. — 5 months ago

It’s not bad. Great aromatics on day one. Nice sweetness in day 2. Significant sediment and the coal was toast. Durand key on these. — 5 days ago
Quite nice cab. Mellow and fruity with Pat’s grilled filet mignon. — 3 months ago
This is my last bottle of this remarkable single vineyard Syrah, the first bottle consumed about 6 years ago.
The nose opens seamlessly with ripe plum, blueberry compote, and cassis before evolving into savory waves of smoked meat, dark cocoa, dried violet, and aged soy. The palate is full and silky, with a refined sweetness and integrated spice driving a long, savory finish. Still powerful but now balanced and restrained. In peak form. — 6 months ago

Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. The high alcohol is nicely integrated. Neither bitter nor tart. Love it.
Would be nice to revisit it in 3 years, and see how it evolves.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, and better when not too cold.

Delicious, we drank part of the bottle which was really delicious and then forgot to vacuum it 😞. Looking forward to buying it again. — 5 years ago
