2010 vintage. Smooth up front with chocolate tobacco tones with slight plum. If finish was longer would get a higher rating. — 2 months ago

Blend of Cab Sauv, Cab Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot & Malbec. Deep Ruby, purple edges, youthful aromas of black fruit, spices, floral and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with some vanilla and tobacco and herbal notes. Vivid acidity, firm tight tannins with long finish ending with a vibrant character, a bit young, should benefit from bottle aging. — 3 months ago

Pale lemon gold color with aromas of bright citrus and tropical fruit with floral notes. On the palate flavors of peach, apple and lemon citrus fruit, some honeysuckle tones with lively acidity. Medium finish ending with fruit, citrus zest, herb floral spice and crisp chalky mineral notes. Nice!! — 2 months ago
Pleasantly surprised by a relatively restrained oak aged Zin with plenty of interesting notes. — 3 months ago
Pale color, with aromas of peach, pear, and apricot. Medium body, slightly sweet entry, tropical flavors, also some citrus (lemon, grapefruit) flavors, some pleasant spicy notes (not heavy on spice). Good kick of acidity keeps it going. A great food wine.

@Delectable Wine -This wine is the Jayson by Pahlmeyer “The Bench” Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark ruby color. Aromas of black berry fruit and sweet oak. Dark blackberry, boysenberry, black currant and plum fruit with additional notes of chocolate and black pepper. Very long finish that has an acidic bite. Extremely fruit forward, concentrated and plush. Still quite young, so more bottle age may be needed. Part of the Capital Grill 2025 Generous Pour Program. We were told that this is the initial vintage of this wine. — 3 days ago
