The problem with SP68 bianco is that you always drink it young, just few months after arrival. And then you start dreaming about it somewhere in between seasons, when it's no available anymore. But luckily, there are folks who stored a bunch of 2015! Clean style orange, not funky anymore. Chamomile, amber, quince, baked peach, sunflower oil, subtle hints of VA, pickles (like in old Burgundy), tea and citrus peel. Quite fresh, well balanced, good tannin, medium+ body. It certainly lacks acidity.

Deep nose of ripe plum, cassis, blackberry, cedar, dark roasted coffee beans, herbal spices, hint of cigar box and violet. Warm and soft lightly extracted dark fruits lead the initial attack. Dense yet smooth with impeccable balance. Full of energy. Firm polished tannins. The pairing of 14 days dry age Rohan duck was magnificent.
Immensely powerful with old world charm and grace, this 10’ Saint Julian earns a perfect score from WE, and I think it’s deservedly so. — 5 years ago
Eric Sussman first heard the expression radio coteau from a friend while working in Burgundy. Name reflects a commitment to capturing reflections of soil, seasons, people and place. In 2002, Eric established Radio-Coteau. Ruby with fresh fruit aromas with earthy spice scents. On the palate cherry flavors with spicy tea leaf notes, zesty in style. Fine tannins, great mouthfeel texture, lingering ending with and earthy character which you can almost taste the soil. Nice! Something special. — 6 years ago
Petrol nose with mild peach undertones. Smooth and dry with an increasing fruit body with a lingering finish. Notes of green apple and peach. Refreshing and reminds of a German Rheingau Riesling. — 6 years ago
Tasted like a Mosel GG. There’s probably some intellectual implication in this statement, but I reckon that best be shared once I’ve had KP’s rendition of this vineyard. The wine comes from one of KP’s parcel in Florsheim that’s farmed and vinified by Julian in Piesport. The opening statement probably roots from the extreme tartness and overall structure of the wine, but I wouldn’t discount the inherent biases of not tasting blind. Opened with an insane nose of ripe stone fruits, pears, white flowers, herbs, camphor, and a very interesting pastry-lke character. Concentrated, long, very tart, and chalky on the palate. It will undoubtedly improve in the cellar, but was already such a joy to drink at this stage. I absolutely adored the wine, but it must be said that the feeling was likely amplified by the fact that it involves some of my favourite vintners in the world - Julian and KP. — 3 years ago
Nice fruit from start to finish. Smooth and semi-dry with good balance. Excellent example of a Michigan Pinot Noir. — 5 years ago
Fresh, crisp, juicy & zippy. A bone-dry, mineral Kabinett. A joy!
Slate, hot stones, salt, a hint of white flowers and underripe peach. A touch of lemon peel.
On the palate this is filigrane, light, yet the juicy acidity gives this a huge energy kick. The finish last forever with a salty, spicy mineral edge to out.
This drinks like a dream and faster than you can describe it. Brilliant! — 5 years ago
Nectarine, lychee, clementine. Nice weight but still pure, fresh and crisp. The fact that you can find a wine of this caliber from such an esteemed winemaker at this price continues to promote the undervaluation of Riesling, but don’t tell anyone. — 6 years ago
Soft, floral notes on the front with transition to mild citrus with a touch of green apple. Very nice mouth feel with just enough acid and overall dry finish. — 6 years ago
This wine was great. Compliments of the Four Seasons in Vail but would buy it myself. — 8 years ago

Great pumpkin offering as usual! Pie crust and pumpkin pie spice offering on the nose to appease the gourds; orange pekoe celestial reflections. Cinnamon stick whittled for whipping, and nutmegs just made for licking. Great taste for a knife carved face of caramelized pumpkin! Naysayers be slain. Haters haunted, Geeks begouled, Smarms smitten. How else can you mark the seasons in Florida? A deep Ruby red. A whiff of H2S and asparagus along with tomato bush on the nose. Some cassis characters on the medium plus bodied palate along with red capsicum. When I first opened this I thought it was a 2006. The graphics on the label are such that it is difficult to pick the difference as the type face is small. I have previous notes on the 2006 which I thought was a bit better and more fruit driven than this 2008. In cool climate Tasmania there will be some seasons where full ripeness of Cabernet Sauvignon will be a challenge. It remains the best Cabernet in Tasmania IMO. 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, 4% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot. — 5 years ago
Love love love this wine. A beautiful Riesling with lots of Lemon and Green Apple up front. Low on the mineral with a well balanced acidity. A can’t beat wine for the price. — 6 years ago

Citrus and apple, high acidity with a little bit of saltiness - not my favorite vintage but still a very good entry level Haart riesling. — a year ago
