2022/4/24-25. Side-by-side with the 2017 Cannubi. This is slightly higher-toned, with more rose, lifted red berry and lighter spice. Still very young and severe, even more so than most other traditional young Barolos I encounter these days. — 4 years ago
Just love this wine, just gets better and better. Deep Ruby with an elegant bouquet of berry fruits, light spice with earthy tones, a traditional Rioja. On the palate, the wine was silky smooth with layers of flavors, berry and cherry, tobacco, smoky cedar, dark fruit, vanilla spice, very well balanced with fine tannins and a clean structure ending with a nice long finish with earthy and leathery notes. Delicious! Still has room to age. — 5 years ago
Super traditional Barolo doing what it does. — 6 years ago
2004 vintage. Another beauty from this extremely traditional producer. Golden colour, intense bouquet with dried fruits, flowers (camomile), lemon peel, spices and a hint of bee wax. Beautifully balanced taste, profound and intense, with long finish. Amazing anachronistic wine with a value for money that is out of this world. — 7 years ago

Not a very dry sparkling wine but a lovely background floral note. Really liked this. — 6 months ago
An excellent expression of traditional Rioja! Tempranillo (80%) and Garnacha (20%) blend. Aromas of rose petals, leather and dark fruit. Pallet is full of plum, raspberry, cherry cola, balsamic vinegar and spices. Hint of orange peel. Soft/silky/dusty tannins, elegant balance and a long memorable finish. Beautiful! Even better the second day. Thank you for sharing Keith S. Revisited in May 2023. Still elegant and beautiful! — 4 years ago
What an awesome rioja from out grad year - and it practically took us back to Logrono to boot. Paired with spicy (as well as some super-traditional) gambas al ajillo, and stood up well to both. I would say legitimately one of the better wines I’ve had in a long time, if not ever. Would absolutely recommend, esp. if you have a more French cote du Rhône or Oregon pinot palate. — 5 years ago
Really smooth. Vanilla spice, beautiful mouthfeel and cleansing finish. Nice 👌 — 6 years ago

Laura Bianchi and her team continue the long family tradition of making beautiful wines. This marvelous Chianti is a good example. Its traditional style exhibits a layered structure of ripe cherry fruit & herbs accented with light tannins that make it a delight to drink. The wine is at its peak. Enjoy it! — 4 years ago
In 1879, 2 brothers decided to set up a wine business, C.V.N.E., Compañía Vinicola del Norte de España (Northern Spanish Wine Company) or la Cuné, as it is commonly known in Haro, was created and still kept in traditional neighborhood of Haro station today. Deep Ruby with ripe berry aromas and complex spices, 85% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano, 5% Mazuelo. On the palate blackberry, cherry and sweet currant with herb, leather and pepper spice. Fine tannins, well balanced good depth and structure on a long finish. — 6 years ago
Has a slight thickness in consistency. True honey sweetness that dances on the tastebuds refreshingly. My husband and I enjoy this wine very much. — 7 years ago
My son came over for dinner so I opened my last bottle! Beautiful Ruby red with an elegant bouquet of sweet berry fruits, subtle spice with earthy tones, a traditional Rioja. On the palate, the wine was silky smooth with layers of flavors, berry/cherry, tobacco, smoky cedar, dark fruit, vanilla spice, very well balanced with fine tannins and a clean structure ending with a nice lingering finish. Delicious! Still great with room to run. This wine shows potential aging well beyond 2020. I wish I had more! — 8 years ago

If this was the only wine I could drink for the rest of my life, I’d be quite content. — 3 months ago
