First white port I’ve had since actually being in Porto 14 yrs ago…first of all, not white at all, looks just like a tawny, and remarkably fresh tasting for 20yrs…but says bottled in 2016, maybe needs another 10yrs like the red Kopkes — 3 years ago

Old vintage port is such a treat!
Great pleasure with layered tastes. Nuts, raisins, alchol bite!

Burnt brick red/brown on the eye. Medjool dates, dried cherries, cigar box, cedar on the nose. Palette sees more of that delicious cooked dates in butter, sweet caramelized vinegar, tart cherries, medium- acid, long, savory, buttery finish. Delightful port and love the age on this and also like that the alcohol is not overwhelming- it’s integrated into wine. Not dead yet and lots of vigor to be enjoyed! — 8 years ago
Pale brick red with a reddish rim. Not as orange’y as Barros.
Restrained nose, spice, orange peel, ripe figs and kirsch.
Juicy & fresh on the palate with zippy acidity balancing the high sweetness.
Less sweet than Barros, more balanced, fresher, juicier, classier. — 10 months ago

Dried figs, orange peel, walnuts, a hint iodine, nice spice.
Beautifully balanced & poised with fresh, racy acidity.
This has depth and a certain wow factor.
Delish! — 10 months ago
