White Colheita Porto 2004

Dried figs, orange peel, walnuts, a hint iodine, nice spice.
Beautifully balanced & poised with fresh, racy acidity.
This has depth and a certain wow factor.
Delish!

White 20 Years Old Port

First white port I’ve had since actually being in Porto 14 yrs ago…first of all, not white at all, looks just like a tawny, and remarkably fresh tasting for 20yrs…but says bottled in 2016, maybe needs another 10yrs like the red Kopkes — 3 years ago

Kopka Colheita Port Blend 1988

Burnt brick red/brown on the eye. Medjool dates, dried cherries, cigar box, cedar on the nose. Palette sees more of that delicious cooked dates in butter, sweet caramelized vinegar, tart cherries, medium- acid, long, savory, buttery finish. Delightful port and love the age on this and also like that the alcohol is not overwhelming- it’s integrated into wine. Not dead yet and lots of vigor to be enjoyed! — 8 years ago

30 Year Old Tawny Porto

Pale brick red with a reddish rim. Not as orange’y as Barros.
Restrained nose, spice, orange peel, ripe figs and kirsch.
Juicy & fresh on the palate with zippy acidity balancing the high sweetness.
Less sweet than Barros, more balanced, fresher, juicier, classier.

Very good! Similar to my favorite port - Kopke. Caramel in color and flavor, but has more alcohol and is less refined. Definitely packs a punch, but love the overall approach and style. — 5 years ago
