I've been enjoying this wine lately but at the moment it needs some damn food to go with it. Where are our fucking guests so we can start on the appetizers?!

Cooking collard-greens on the nose. I suspect that’s the cab franc. I love that. Almost a coffee but vegetal palate. Not only for the price point, this is pretty dang good for me. — 8 years ago

White Bordeaux is so under appreciated!
This ‘simple’ Graves, at 8y of age is sublime.
Medium bodied with juicy Mirabelle plum and gooseberry, slightly waxy, with a pithy, stony core underneath and a subtle note of dried mint.
Remarkably fresh, cool, poised.
A perfect food wine, that is not too flashy or demanding but accentuates and complements the dish.
