Kind of a funky bottle. Classic St. Rita hill spice! 13.9%. Well executed. Too fruit driven for me but well done. Dark fruit mostly. Blackberry, hint dark cherry, hint red peppercorn. — 2 months ago
Nose of bright citrus and pineapple, in the mouth it carries a bit of honey up front but quickly dissipates to lemon, calamansi and pineapple. Wonderful wine and in a good place now. — 8 months ago
Drinking beautifully in 2022. A true Santa Rita Hills beauty with dark fruit and bold acidity. — 4 years ago
This is the La Encantada Vineyard Pinot and might be one of the best from this producer. Nice fruit forward of black cherry, cola, star anise and cracked pepper. Love the earthy and floral nose of this single-vineyard wine. Big fan of this. Not so much on the other vineyards. — 5 months ago
Nice combo of red fruits and forest floor on the nose. Rich strawberry and cherry flavors complimented by bright cranberry and a nervous minerality give the palate a nice lift. I’m curious how much the forest floor and tertiary characteristics will develop over time. — 2 years ago
