Liked this. There was instant Laphroig peat right up front, but surprising as there was not so much on the nose. I don’t love heavy peat, but I thought this was nicely balanced with a rich caramel and spice. — 11 days ago

Day 24 of the 2022 Whisky Advent Calendar. Very smoky at first but with a caramel depth coming through. Intensely peaty with a cocoa and mint layer under it and lots of spices. Toasty nutty finish. — 3 years ago

P: Buttery rich, mineral, very mineral, yeasty, very smooth. Almost medicinal in the way Laphroaig scotch is.
