Palate is sexy cherries. Pink rose internal aromatics. So juicy. A bit bitter. So good.

Good value Amarone from Costco. Pop and pour approachable. Not as dense as the best Amarone but has the nice clove spiciness, fig, and dried leaves slight tannins with a pleasant finish. Surprisingly there is a hint of ripe strawberry that is a softening agent. — 7 months ago

First take: it’s a bit muddled and flabby….lacking crisp structure. It is young so I will test on day two. Day 2.5: impressively, air has brought this one to life! Clarity and articulation are now present. The character profile is still medium+ weighted fresh red/black cherry with a delicate green herby frame. What improved - the focus and clarity of the acidity. It broadened, thus mouthfeel improved. — 4 years ago
