2005 vintage. Last tasted 11.23.23 (9.4), 11.15.19 (9.4), 06.01.17 (9.5) Last bottle. Respectable, low neck fill. Used a Durand and excellent cork. Decanted with sticky (to the bottle) sediment and not that much floating loose to navigate. Tasted after 30 minutes. Those inimitable, sexy Cos stylings. Medium/medium heavy (still!?) bod. Richness. Ample fruit. Slight amount of aged George Clinton/Bootsy funk. Highly restrained tannins. Woah. This. Did. Not. Suck. Time to reorder. 9.13.25. — 3 months ago

Earthy and not giving away much initially, was worried after 20 mins. By 30 it blossomed, full on cassis and vanilla tannins, undergrowth. Dark red fruit, Rutherford dust. Notwithstanding a Bordeaux vibe there was no mistaking this for anything but a high-end Napa cab. Awesome one at that. I wouldn’t wait much longer… — a year ago
Far more acidic than California Cab Franc. Enjoyable new way to try this grape — a year ago
2018 vintage on 10/19/25 with homemade bake rigatoni. Nice cab that went well with the red sauce. — 2 months ago
When cold, aromas reminded me of Meyer lemon cheesecake and brine but as wine warmed a bit, aromas turned to bright lemon, lavender, and gardenia. Baking spices and minerals buried deep. Beautiful wine with a finish to match. As worthy as any fine Chard the world offers. — 2 months ago

Hate to be a typical wine drinker, but there was a smooth and velvety taste with a continuous bite at the end. Completely coats the tongue with flavor from start to finish. — 18 days ago
