Even though the vintage is ranked 82 by RP, this wine made an absolute great impression, entertaining different tones every sip. I felt more prominence of paper, forest, dry and wet, and autumn fallen dry leaves, mushrooms, with berries, jammed wild strawberries and some cranberries, coming wrapped in woody aromas. Highly elegant, well but not perfectly balanced with small show-offs of acidity, tannins or sweetness on the runway — 4 months ago

See previous Note. Old plummie, red cherry notes. Barb said dusty and pine needles. A cooler vintage. I said red cherries and freshly tilled loam. As Galloni said “In 2010 Ama did not bottle their single vineyard selections. All the best fruit went here.” Tasting more the quality of a Brunello than a Chianti Classico. On the nose, this is cranberry and faint raspberry... Wintertime cocoa? On the palate, this is back to the fruit... Red plum, cranberry... A medium body... The acidity is past medium. Juicy. Tannins very present but unfocused. Medium length of red plum skins. — 16 days ago
